Dilip is rather shy and his English is limited. If you greet him with a casual "Hi Dilip. How are you?" his usual response is a hurried "How are you?" right back! Perhaps this is just one illustration of his complete unselfishness! One of the qualities we love in Dilip is his loyalty and adoration for his older sister Nisha. If he thinks she needs protection, he is not afraid of anything. He will stick up for Nisha, who is very timid, no matter what. When class is over, he prefers to stay at the school, curl up on a chair, and wait for his sister instead of walking home or playing with his classmates. The tiny gaps between each of Dilip's teeth make his little smile absolutely enchanting.
