Hariharan is one of our precious Lower Kindergarten (LKG) children. He is here at Rising Star Outreach with his sister Suganya; both of which are in school for the first time. Their mother died of cancer in 2008. Their father works hard for the family and is very loving to his two children. Hariharan seems older than his 6 years. He is a quiet observer, a bit shy, and doesn't need to be the center of attention. He is a very loving big brother to his little sister: he loves to play with her, and we often see the two walking to school together, holding hands. His English comprehension is quite good, but he is still very shy about speaking. He is an attentive listener--he loves singing and is very engaged in any group activity. Needless to say, this little boy has engaged everyone's heart.
