Soniya has a quiet elegance about her that transcends her meager 13 years.  You will never see her competing for attention or fanfare.  She has entered her teenage years like a dream-- the epitome of obedience and selflessness.  She has a contagious smile and is downright beautiful inside and out.  Her family lives in Delhi and she travels by train to visit them during school holidays, with her younger brother Arun.  When she grows up, she wants to become a nurse in order to help leprosy patients like her father.  Her tender heart desires to help anyone in need-- from the younger children at the hostel, to the people begging on the street.  These generous ambitions are sure to light her future just as they shine on Rising Star's campus!
